  • Clients often describe it as feeling like daydreaming or feeling laser focused. Sometimes it feels as if you’re relaxed with your eyes closed. Just like every experience, Hypnosis experiences vary, yet they’re effective.

  • While similar in many of their goals, hypnotherapy works by giving suggestions directly to the client’s subconscious that can change or modify habits. psychotherapy or “talk therapy,” is counseling that is based entirely on an interpersonal relationship wherein the client/patient talks with their therapist about their thoughts and feelings. Both must be completely confidential.

  • On the contrary. A hypnotherapist is only your guide and will help you gain more control over your thoughts, emotions and actions. In addition, a person must CHOOSE to change, otherwise long-term success is very unlikely. This is further evidence that the power is with the client rather than the hypnotist. You can resist suggestions that are against your will or contrary to your value system. You can also resist suggestions if you have an emotional desire to resist. You hold the key to your success.

  • During your first session, we’ll talk about your goals and objectives. Once you are clear on the process and we have set our intentions, will begin the session that has been created just for you.

  • Everyone is different. A client may only need one session. however, the average client may need 3 or more. It is impossible to predict. Results vary from one individual to another. Blue Ridge Hypnosis offers a few options however, Three sessions is the average process to see long-lasting results. additional visits, along with other tools, are always available. My commitment to you is to be there for you every step of your journey. my goal is to help you grow from your struggles, minimize your pain, and create balance in your life.

  • This is the first step of your beautiful journey. During your complimentary phone consultation, information is gathered by listening to what you’d like to change or improve in your life. The focus is on you and what your needs are. Next, I’ll qualify your needs, explain the process, suggest various methods (see additional services) and go over pricing. Because each client is unique, no two sessions are alike. I custom create each session just for you! Lastly, we’ll wrap up the phone consultation with clarity toward our next step.

  • I accept cash or credit or debit cards. Checks are accepted at least two weeks in advance of first appointment. I do not accept insurance, however I can give you the necessary paperwork for you to submit to your insurance company.

  • It is impossible to predict how long it will take to help you find that comfort and balance that you are seeking. I have worked with clients for as little as one session and as many as 10. See Programs & Pricing for updated intormation.
